QUONSET LAKE HOUSE
This summer retreat located at Lake McConaughy in Nebraska will serve as a vacation spot for large gatherings. The quonset's prefabricated corrugated metal exterior is contrasted with a soft plywood interior and translucent openings. The project presents solid service spaces and void-like living spaces, including an elevated cat walk that integrates the main and upper levels underneath the half-round shell.
