| SUNSET PAVILION
Firestone, Colorado
Standing atop a hill overlooking the park entry, focused on the panorama of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains beyond, the Sunset Pavilion marks the intersection of multiple paths along a regional trail system. In concert with 8 additional pavilions throughout the park, the Sunset structure speaks to the simplicity of construction and the honesty of natural materials.
| SHOSHONE RESIDENCE
Denver, Colorado
The Shoshone residence is envisioned as a monumental limestone volume that will house an eclectic collection of art and sculpture. The project examines unique lighting conditions throughout the day by utilizing a series of curved light scoops to direct and filter the illumination.
| HELIBARN STUDIO
Bozeman, Montana
The project is located on axis from the helicopter approach as suggested by experienced pilot consultants. The project buries itself into the hillside, diminishing the scale from the garage / drive approach.

| SALIDA OBSERVATORY
Salida, Colorado
The Salida Observatory is an instrument for engaging the natural surroundings. The project actively questions the accepted state of excessive program (and the resulting space) while acknowledging this place as a mere stop off for exploring the adjacent Colorado back country.
| CHALK CLIFFS RESIDENCE
The site at the Chalk Cliffs residence has incredible, and different experiences in every direction. A river traces through the earth at your feet, while the white chalky cliffs command your vision to the sky. Looking to the north, your eye is led into the distant valley, while a forest protects from the south. In all directions, this project exemplifies contrast. The vision was to create an instrument for living that connects to place.
| SKINWALKER RANCH
Skinwalker, Utah
The site located in the expanse of the desert looks over the Skinwalker Ranch which is reported to be an area of "high strangeness". The paranormal reputation of this place is well known and sightings of UFOs, poltergeists and other otherworldly entities have been investigated by the United States Government.
