Studio 2b is the new home for a lifestyle showroom and design studio that fuses old and new. The renovation of a 1940’s bow truss building in Denver’s River North District is empowered by the insertion of a piece of architecture in the form of a floating loft. This unique object is placed in the center of the space and contrasts the historic shell. Spatially the insertion creates a sophisticated zoning of layers within a nine square grid as well as sectional experiences of above, under + over.
